I'm posting this on behalf of Pam Rogers:
Well The Rogers family has a few traditions that we all enjoy at Christmas time. A German tradition that has been handed down to us is the hiding of the pickle ornament. The child who finds the pickle ornament on the tree Christmas morning gets to open the first present. We also grab any Holiday books we have and try to read them Christmas Eve - we absolutely have to read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas!" After going to candlelight service at church Christmas Eve, we drive around and look at all the lights. Even as kids get older, I think traditions are something that keep everyone grounded.
