Important Family Time

Family dinner…we don’t really need a Presidential proclamation, do we? National Family Day has caught the attention of families across the nation, and it serves to remind us of how important family time is. Hopefully you are able to have family dinners frequently, although it isn’t always easy in busy families. Make it a priority because your teenagers benefit in some very concrete ways. Here are some facts:
Frequent family dinners are associated with:

  • better school performance
  • decreased chance for substance abuse problems.It’s as simple, and as important as that!
